The Haiti opener at 02:00 Edinburgh time requires serious commitment. The Morocco and Brazil matches land at 23:00, far more civilized. The Tartan Army has a global following, and Scottish diaspora communities in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States number in the millions. For Scots in New York and Boston, all three matches fall at comfortable local times. For those in Sydney, an 18:00 Eastern kickoff becomes 08:00 the following morning in Australia, a reasonable breakfast match. Scotland hosting group stage watch parties in Edinburgh pubs will require venues willing to stay open until 02:00 for the Brazil match, but the Tartan Army needs little encouragement.
